Q: Can I use other art media other than the included markers?
A: YES! We’ve found that colored pencils work AMAZINGLY well and wipe off with the included eraser pad. Acrylic brush on paints and acrylic paint pens (like Posca, Molotow, or Montana) work great too! If you’re going to use spray paint, Montana Gold is one of the few rattle can paints that we recommend. Feel free to reach out if you have questions regarding specific media/brands as we’ve tried A LOT of them.
Q: HELP! The ink is not coming off! Is there something else that I can do?
A: No worries! The ink ghosting is completely normal. However, if you want to bring your Marmal back to ‘like new’ condition, just use a few drops of isopropyl alcohol (99%) and the included eraser pad (or magic eraser style sponge) and watch the ghosted ink come right off!
